We are two twin sisters who created Blossom Funk as a brand with a big vision of changing materialistic consumerism.

Growing up we both had a big interest in clothing and beautiful things, loved walking around flea markets to find unique pieces, sometimes ugly but to be pretty together with something else. Traveling also became a big interest of ours, exploring cultures, art and realities. Facing these realities where people may suffer, by actions mainly from our own part of the world, has given us the motivation to make a change.

We have had enough of supporting both humanitarian and environmental exploitation. We know that we cannot stop people from consuming, but we could change their way of doing so. We, among others can introduce a more sustainable way of consuming by wearing what already exists. Using wasted materials that already comes with a story where one created it in the first place and another cherished it elsewhere, we can transform unwanted materials into wanted pieces. Therefore, all of our materials are second hand or dead stock, already existent but given a new life.
